Why Shane?

With over 16 years experience, having been involved in many aspects of running, I am truly passionate about the impact structured training can have on our lives. From fun runs to international races, the lonely long-run to tough track sessions, and running injured to helping injured runners - I’ve been through the highs, lows, wrongs, and rights. If you’ve experienced any kind of feeling from running, there’s a high chance I have too!

My approach comes from my own ongoing journey competing, a versatile education in coaching, sports science, and sports injury. I spend a lot of time studying the latest pain research, and recovery and training research to put into practice and love experiencing the outcomes.

I truly believe that running serves as an entry point to lifelong fitness, health, and developing of ourselves. And, I count myself lucky that what I have experienced as a runner has shaped my life, and will continue to do so.

My coaching has grown from my passion to help runners of any ability to discover and release their potential and achieve their goals. The whole service is centred around you.

Why Ronny?

I have been running for 14 years, and counting. After all this time, I’m still performing better than ever, having my best streak of performances. I attribute this to my understanding of the psychology of performance.

When I started to realise what my daily runs were doing for me on a holistic level, I had to explore more. I dived into cognitive psychology and self-development. Sport as a metaphor for life really began to click and I found a passion in this message. I quit my job to pursue Sport and Exercise Psychology.

Working with a coach is a partnership. It brings accountability, perspective and teamwork. What changes from being an individual runner, to someone with a coach is one of interdependence. You can place confidence in your ability knowing Coach is right by your side. Together we can combine to complement and challenge each other in the pursuit of your goals. I base my coaching philosophy from this.
